"Jurassic Park 4" pushed back

Universal Pictures recently confirmed the rumours that their film "Jurassic Park 4" has been pushed back, the film was originally meant to release June 13, 2014. Here is the official statement from the studio;

"In coordination with filmmakers, Universal has decided to release Jurassic Park 4 at a later date giving the studio and filmmakers adequate time to bring audiences the best possible version of the fourth installment in Universal’s beloved franchise. We could not be more excited about the vision that Colin Trevorrow has created for this film, and we look forward to watching as he and the producers create another great chapter in this franchise's storied history."

New "Fast And Furious 6" poster & shocking Justin Lin news...

Universal have released a full crew poster for the upcoming instalment in the Fast And Furious franchise "Fast & Furious 6". With this poster, this week we found out that Justin Lin won't be returning to do anymore "Fast" films, he joined the franchise for "Tokyo Drift" which I personally thought would have destroyed the franchise. Which I was wrong obviously, then he went on to do three more film including the newest one releasing soon.

We also recently heard from Vin Diesel himself that they are going to start shooting Fast & Furious 7 this Summer, reports are suggesting that Universal Pictures want to get the seventh film out by next year an that Justin Lin has opted not direct it.

If Lin had stayed on board with the Fast franchise then he would have tied John Glen for the record for most English language film directed by the same person passing some of the greats Steven Spielberg for his "Indiana Jones" franchise, George Lucas with "Star Wars" and David Yates with "Harry Potter".

Finally, it feels like forever that people have been talking about this film. However, now we finally have a director attached to the project, Colin Trevorrow. He hasn't really done anything in the movie business well besides "Safety Not Guaranteed" last year he hasn't done anything.

Universal has shown a lot of interest of moving forward with the next instalment in the "Jurassic Park" franchise over the past few years' now it's looking more likely that it's happening. They have recently announced a release date for of June 13th, 2014, but no other details about the film have been announced as of yet.

The previous report was telling us that "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes" writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda were hired to write a script for the film.

First official photo of Daniel Day-Lewis an Honest Abe

Steven Spielberg has been pounding the films in the past year or two, but this is one is looking like it will go down in history as one of the greats. I mean it does already have one of our generations greatest Actors Daniel Day-Lewis. Now we have the first official photo of Mr.Day-Lewis in his Lincoln attire, I think Day-Lewis looks amazing he looks just like what I imagine Abraham Licoln would look like in colour pictures. So it has one of the best actors of all time in the lead, with possibly the greatest director/producer of all time at the helm with one of my favourite current actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt supporting as Lincoln's oldest son.

Over the past week it seems that the films are doing their international rounds, not aimed at the UK or the United States. This trailer shows off some footage that we have not previously seen it past trailers.

"Jurassic Park 3D" theatrical release next year

With a new "Jurassic Park" instalment in the works, Universal are planning on bring back the original to the big screen to celebrate it's 20th Anniversary. There is an official release date set for 19th July and the movie is being converted to 3D, after the success of "Lion King 3D" Universal most be hoping to replicate the success that Disney had.

Steven Spielberg speak on "Jurassic Park 4" & "TinTin" sequel

Steven Spielberg originally said that "Jurassic Park 4" was on his schedule, leading myself an everybody else to believe that he would be returning as director, turns out that's not the case.
Reports are saying now that Spielberg has said "but I can tell you that I'm not directing it. I'm producing it though".




Spielberg also added that he will likely start directing "Robopocalypse" in September and that Peter Jackson will be direction the sequel to "The Adventures Of Tintin".

"I’m not going to say which stories have been chosen for Peter Jackson’s sequel because Peter and I agreed that we weren’t going to let that information out yet," he said. "The script is now being written. It’s more than one book, but it’s not three books, so that means it’s two books. It’s two and a half books that we’re combining with 'The Secret of the Unicorn.' And Peter will start working on the film this year. When he’s done shooting 'The Hobbit,' he’ll begin his performance capture work with the actors later in 2012, which I’m very excited about. And of course, I’m hoping I’ll be able to direct the third one. I’d love to do the third one because I had so much fun on the first one."

Steven Spielberg speaks on "Robopocalypse"

Spielberg was attached to the project at the end of 2010, "Robopocalypse" is set to be his next film after this years "Lincoln" the biographical film of Abraham Lincoln's life.
"It’s a movie about a global war between man and machine, it’s a future that is coming true faster than any of us thought it would. 'Robopocalypse' takes place in 15 or 20 years, so it’ll be another future we can relate to. It’s about the consequences of creating technologies which make our lives easier, and what happens when that technology becomes smarter than we are. It’s not the newest theme, it’s been done throughout science fiction, but it’s a theme that becomes more relevant every year."
The film is based on the novel on the same name by Daniel H. Wilson, set to go into production in 2013.
