A couple of months back Latino Review were reporting that Peggy Carter played by the incredible Hayley Atwell would be making an appearance in Marvels upcoming "Ant-Man", seems like that rumour has been confirmed with Project Casting putting out a casting call that reads like this;
Casting directors are looking for an actor to work as a
stand-in for the actor Haley Atwell. Haley Attwell is 31, 5’7 and 112
pounds. She is best known for her work in stage productions such as A
View from the Bridge, and in films such as Cassandra’s Dream, The
Duchess, The Pillars of the Earth, and Captain America: The First
Avenger. In addition, casting directors are looking for a body double
that meets certain requirements.

New Avengers roster after Age Of Ultron???
Speaking to BuzzFeed Marvel Producer and President Kevin Feige has spoken about the future of The Avengers;
“It’s like as it was in publishing," Feige tells the outlet, "when each of the characters would go on their own adventures and then occasionally team up for a big, 12-issue mega-event. Then they would go back into their own comics, and be changed from whatever that event was. I envision the same thing occurring after this movie, because the [Avengers] roster is altered by the finale of this film.”
Does this mean Ant-Man? Doctor Strange? Vision? Black Panther? Could become official members of The Avengers for the third film. What does it mean for the members we all know and love? Damn, Marvel you guys are KILLING IT!!! Talk about owning the Comic book world right now, kudos!

Adam McKay eyes Marvel spot???
Adam McKay the genius behind countless of the funniest films in recent years has already got his foot in the door of the Marvel Cinematic Universe boarding "Ant-Man" to rewrite the script with the help of Paul Rudd the man starring in the film. Recently while doing an "interview" if you will with CraveOnline McKay has announced he is in talks to helm his own Marvel project.
"[I] had such a great time working with them," he says, "that we're kicking around ideas. But yeah, maybe I would take on one of the characters. We haven't locked in anything, but discussions are definitely going on."

Kevin Feige has spoke about "Ant-Man"
This whole "Ant-Man" saga is getting vastly out of hand, and now we finally know who is directing well we have for a while but it is only now I have posted a piece about it. Director Peyton Reed was chosen a couple of weeks after they sacked Edgar Wright, now Kevin Feige has came out and told us why Reed is the correct choice for the movie.
"Peyton is someone that I've been a fan of for a long time. People may not remember, though probably your readers remember, that he was attached to Fantastic Four more than 10 years ago. We spent a lot of time together… and I got along with Peyton very, very well and he had awesome ideas and an awesome vision for the movie, and for various reasons he ended up leaving that movie...'Peyton was always on our lists, and so when this happened and Edgar [Wright] said 'Not for me' we met with a handful of people, but Peyton was always one that I thought would be great.
"It was not a slam-dunk that he would just step into it and do it. He wanted to be sure that he was wasn't just inheriting something or following someone else's lead. Or wasn't inheriting something that the evil studio had watered down to be something bad. I kept saying, 'You can either read what's online, or come in and talk to us and look at all this stuff.' He looked at everything, he talked with us, and he said 'Number one, I agree with the direction you’re going in. And number two, I can add to it.' And he has – the movie is in as good a shape as it's ever been right now."

Thor 3 gets its writers
After the news yesterday that the Russo brothers would be returning for another instalment in the Captain America franchise, Marvel have broke news that they are moving forward with Thor 3. They announced that Senior Vice President of Production and Development Craig Kyle will script the film along with Christopher Yost who worked on "Thor: The Dark World".
"I am proud of Craig and have enjoyed working with him over these past years," President of Production Kevin Feige said in a prepared statement. "His creative instincts have helped shape 'Thor' and 'Thor: The Dark World' at every level of the filmmaking process. The entire team at Marvel is very happy to continue collaborating with Craig as he continues as a screenwriter working with Christopher on the forthcoming chapter of Thor’s adventure."

So anyway back to the movie news, we have two new pictures and a poster for the upcoming Marvel instalment "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". James Spader is ULTRON!
The news broke about two weeks ago that James Spader more than likely widely known right now as Robert California in "The Office U.S" has been cast as Ultron in the upcoming Avengers sequel "The Avengers: Age Of Ultron". Whenever I think about this casting all I can imagine is Robert California, he just doesn't suit the role of Ultron maybe seeing him in something else might sway my mind. For now, Spader is wrong let's bite our tongues until we see some clips or a trailer.

"Guardians Of The Galaxy" trailer!
At Comic-Con the other week they showed a trailer for the highly anticipated "Guardians Of The Galaxy" and some sneaky so and so recorded it an we have it here to watch. So feast your eyes on probably the most unexpectedly good trailer I have seen in a while! I know nothing about The Guardians Of The Galaxy, but after watching this trailer I am going to do a bit of reading up on these bad boys.

Marvel announces two mystery films
Marvel have given us two release dates for upcoming films these are May 6th, 2016 and May 5th, 2017. As it stands we have no confirmation what so ever, but the speculation is fun. This May we saw the release of "Iron Man 3" which officially launched their "phase two" in the cinematic universe. later this year we will get "Thor: The Dark World" and next year "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and "Guardians Of The Galaxy". Then we get "The Avengers 2" in May 2015 and "Ant-Man" later that year.
Leaving us to speculate that these films could be, "Doctor Strange" and "Black Panther"? They are two on the biggest rumours that are circulating an Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has gone on record an stated his interest in both these characters coming to the big screen. Or could it be "The Avengers 3" releasing in 2017?
Who do you guys think these films could be about? Would love to hear what you think.

"Captain America 2 The Winter Solider" set photos
On these newest set photos for the upcoming Marvel film "Captain America: The Winter Solider" we finally get to see the afore mentioned "Winter Soldier". An it is safe to say, he looks pretty bad ass. I personally wasn't too familiar with The Winter Soldier as I never grew up reading Captain America he goes back to the birth of Marvel nearly in 1941. Anyway, back to the pictures Sebastian Stan played Bucky in "Captain America: The First Avenger" this time around he is playing the same character just a bit more advanced as what I can gather is an assassin brainwashed by somebody, Russia I believe.
Just want to say to sorry dude/dudette, your sign didn't really deter these lovely people from snapping up some pictures. Maybe you didn't see them? Well done Spidey ;)

Quicksilver in "Avengers 2" and "Days Of Future Past"?
In recent weeks it was confirmed that Quicksilver would be featuring in "Avengers 2", an now it has been confirmed the character will feature in "X-Men: Days Of Future Past" played by Evan Peters who is more than likely known by most for his roles in "America Horror Story".
"Though it seemed like the cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past was all filled up, director Bryan Singer just revealed one last addition. Through Twitter, Singer announced that “American Horror Story” regular and Kick-Ass co-star Evan Peters is playing Quicksilver, a character with superhuman speed who happens to be the son of Magneto and the twin brother of Scarlet Witch." via FirstShowing
A lot of people questioned how he was going to work in two different films that are being made by two different studios. Luckily for them the great guys over at Superhero Hype asked Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige that exact question, read what he had to say;
"There’s a specific arrangement with those two characters that would allow us to use them with Avengers, but not discuss or reference their mutant or Magneto-related lineage. [Fox] can use them as mutants and as Magneto’s relatives, but cannot have anything to do with The Avengers.” So while Fox and Marvel can use the characters, they’re limited as to what parts of the comic book mythology they can use. This has the potential to create some confusion for fans, but there will likely be plenty of explanation online if necessary."
So he will exist within the two universes, and have relationships with The X-Men and The Avengers but each universe will not mention the relationship he has with the other group of superheros, right got it? Have I? It's upsetting that the studios can't come to some sort of agreement for these type of events like Spider-Man and possible Avengers connection. The plots for both studios would be exponentially better if they mixed up their characters more. Like if Quicksilvers origins were linked back to him being the son of Magneto and having The Avengers come in an help fight Magneto an his army of whatever. Just could be so much better if the studios didn't own certain characters.

Joss Whedon confirms Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch...
For "The Avengers 2". Yeah you read that correct, Joss Whedon himself has confirmed that Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch will feature in the film.
"You know, they had a rough beginning. They’re interesting to me because they sort of represent the part of the world that wouldn’t necessarily agree with The Avengers. So they’re not there to make things easier. I’m not putting any characters in the movie that will make things easier."
It was kind of obvious that these rumours would be confirmed at some point, but the question is how will they be included in the film? Are we going to see them in X-Men related films? Will we see the as "easter eggs" in Marvel films? It is far to early for me to speculate on who could play these characters, for one the film is soooo far away and another I know nothing at all about the characters. I will do a little research an get back to you guys and girls.

Future Marvel projects revealed
One of the main discussion you see on the movie forums and chat rooms is whether or not Robert Downey is set to return as Iron Man after revealing he is looking at retiring from Iron Man by the time he is 50. Hollywood Reporter are saying that the actor met with Kevin Feige and a few other Marvel executives an began working on his return. Insiders are saying that the negotiations are for his character to return in "Avengers 2" and "Avengers 3", however talk of a fourth instalment in the Iron Man franchise was not discussed. As it stands it is entirely unclear whether Downey wants to return in another stand-alone feature.
Other films that The Hollywood Reporter are also reporting that the studio has scripts in development for Ms. Marvel who is a badass! Plus they are talking about a reboot of Blade, whose films I loved when Wesley Snipes was running around as the vampire slayin' vampire which is great because Marvel have recently gotten the rights back for. Others films that are reported to be in the pipelines are Doctor Strange, Iron Fist, Black Panther and The Runaways, all of which have no production date in sight.

Kevin Feige talks Pepper Potts in "Iron Man 3"
I for one haven't had any interest in "Iron Man 3" up until this point, I wasn't the biggest fan of the first two but I love Marvel so I've seen them. It would be stupid to say the film wouldn't be as good without the addition of Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts.
Marvel Studios producer Kevin Feige has been speaking about how important the character is to the film;
"The love triangle in this movie is really between Tony, Pepper and the suits. Tony, Pepper and his obsession with those suits, and the obsession with technology. And, it’s sort of unique for a big superhero summer blockbuster franchise to have that kind of layers.
"Yes, there’s a bad guy. Yes, the stakes are very, very high--the President of the United States is in danger. Air Force One is attacked. There are big stakes to this movie. But the real stakes are, is Tony going to be able to set aside the obsession to spend all day, every day in that workshop, tinkering with the suits in order to focus on, as he says in the trailer, the one thing that matters most - Pepper. And that actually is what the entire movie’s about."
The rumour of Pepper Potts wearing her own suit in the films has been around for as long as the films have been out, even though Feige doesn't confirm the rumour he certainly does add credence to the rumour;
"I will tell you this. In this movie [Iron Man 3] we play with the convention of the damsel in distress. We are bored by the damsel in distress. But, sometimes we need our hero to be desperate enough in fighting for something other than just his own life. So, there is fun to be had with "Is Pepper in danger or is Pepper the savior?" over the course of this movie.
"In terms of where we go with future movies, we’ll see. In the comic books she does get a taste for the suit and becomes her own hero named Rescue, who doesn’t necessarily battle other people, but is on missions to help people and to save people. Will we do that down the line with Gwyneth Paltrow? Who knows. But her being in the suit is something we have been playing with since Iron Man 2, where we did some designs and it didn’t end up fitting in that movie. But the little taste you saw here [in an Iron Man 3 clip] is something that we’re certainly interested in."
It's not just me is it? That does sound like we might be seeing Rescue in this film? Or at least some point in one of the upcoming films.

Kevin Feige talks Marvel "Phase Two"
Marvel's "Phase Two" is set to begin this Summer when "Iron Man 3" releases, and it will only get bigger and bigger as the next few years progress. In a recent interview with SFX Magazine Marvel's Studio President of Production went on to speak about the scale and genres in their upcoming films and he also said the word "Cosmic" doesn't really describe "Phase Two" as we would all imagine.
"The Thor film and the Guardians of the Galaxy film certainly are cosmic. Guardians and Thor will take the brunt of the cosmic side of the universe, particularly Guardians, which is 95% in space. I think Iron Man 3 shows the other side of Phase 2, which is delving deeper into the characters. Throwing them on a much more personal journey. And Captain America will showcase… What’s exciting to me about Cap – sort of about Iron Man 3 too if you look at it – is it’s tonally almost like a different genre. Shane Black’s described Iron Man 3 as a Tom Clancy sort of political thriller, which I like a lot. We hired our directors on Cap because they loved our explanation that we really want to make a ’70s political thriller masquerading as a big superhero movie. Just like with the first film – we got Joe Johnston because we said, ‘We want to do a ’40s World War Two movie masquerading as a big superhero movie.’ I love that we’re doing a sequel to a film that’s a completely different genre than the first film. I think that’s fun. And the comics do it all the time."
He also gave us a little insight into "Guardians Of The Galaxy" and how it will be more of a standalone film.
"It’s much more of a standalone film. It takes place in the same universe. And when we’ve been on the other side of that universe in other movies, you might see those characteristics in Guardians, but the Avengers are not involved with what’s happening out there at this time."

Kevin Feige talks "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"
Set to release Spring of 2014, "Captain America The Winter Soldier" is based on the story arc written by Ed Brubaker and Steve Epting. So it shouldn't come as surprise to anybody when Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige described the film as a Political Thriller.
"If it is a fad, it's one that lasts 30 to 40 years, as the Western did, because each one is so different. There's an opportunity to graft almost sub-genres onto them. Our first Captain America film was a World War II picture, and the next is a political thriller. They all have their own textures and patinas, and that's what is exciting about it."

"Iron Man 3" War Machine poster
This is such a bad ass poster, I like this poster a lot it has actually sparked a little of my interest in "Iron Man 3". Don Cheadle looks right at home in his armour, will we see a War Machine stand alone film one day?

"Iron Man 3" spoilers?
***SPOILER ALERT***
If you don't want to see the possible spoilers DO NOT scroll down.
You guys/girls might remember a post I done about "Amazing Spider-Man" in which I talked about Lego accidentally releasing scenes from the film in Lego format. Seems like they have gone an done the exact same thing with "Iron Man 3", which is pretty exciting for people looking forward to the film. I am not confirming these are depictions of scenes from the film, but they very well could be.

"Iron Man 3" poster
A lot of people are using the word ominous to describe this poster, but this is Tony Stark he probably decided to blow himself up for the fun of it. Nah, but in all seriousness I do agree with it, there is something really bad happening just before the picture was taken in film. If you check out the suit in the poster it looks different to any I recognise from the past 2 films, so Stark will be rocking a new suit? We already know that there will be a deep space suit rumour, an this suit has a lot of gold on it which is used on space shuttles because it is a great reflector.
