Phil Lord and Chris Miller return for LEGO Movie sequel

The directors of the recently HUGELY successful "The LEGO Movie" Chris Miller and Phil Lord have both signed on to write the sequel no word on whether or not they will direct the sequel yet. The film made a huge amount of money and Warner Bros would have been crazy to not build a whole franchise around this film even with potential spin-offs for characters from the film i.e Batman.

Warner Bros fast-tracking LEGO Batman SOLO!!!

Questions starting circulating after this years "The LEGO Movie" would Batman ever get to go solo, recent reports began to circulate Arnett would be voicing the pompous Bat again. These reports are also saying that the film will be released in 2017.

2017 may sound familiar as LEGO date for all you fans out there, that is the same year in which we are getting a LEGO Movie sequel. So, YES a LEGO Movie sequel AND a LEGO Batman SOLO!!! With Will Arnett returning to voice the Bat, great news for all fans out there.

You guys/girls might remember a post I done about "Amazing Spider-Man" in which I talked about Lego accidentally releasing scenes from the film in Lego format. Seems like they have gone an done the exact same thing with "Iron Man 3", which is pretty exciting for people looking forward to the film. I am not confirming these are depictions of scenes from the film, but they very well could be.
