Academy award winner to write Uncharted film

The Hollywood Reporter are running with a story that Academy Award winner Mark Boal, who won his Oscar for "The Hurt Locker" and was again nominated for "Zero Dark Thirty" is set to write the script for the upcoming Uncharted film. According to other reports, are claiming that Boal is a fan of the games, maybe that aided in his choice to sign on.

After reports surfaced about Boal signing on, it was within the blink of an eye that Chris Pratt became rumoured for the role, some people are claiming he has distanced himself from the role. I personally love Pratt, just not sure he is correct for this role, he is better suited for Indy in a reboot. For Nathan Drake, I would like to see Nathan Fillion or Bradley Cooper in the titular role.

Buddy cop duos we (I haha) want to see!

With the recent success of "Ride Along" it got me thinking about all the past hilarious Buddy Cop/Comedy films we have had, which made me cast my eye to the future and the duos I would love to see team up. Not necessarily for a Buddy Cop it could just be a Buddy Comedy like "Ride Along" technically is. So I decided to make a list of them, here they are;

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler - because they are two of the greatest Comedy actors of all time, male or female in my opinion. If you are not familiar with these two ladies I highly advice checking out "30 Rock" with Tina and "Parks And Rec" with Amy. Both of them shows are hilarious, the Comedy is less than traditional at times but these two execute it perfectly.

 Benedict Cumberbatch and Louis C K - the clever meets the stupid, the serious meets the joker. I know this seems like very much a miss match of talents and work, but if you ask me you can say the same thing about Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock but that worked well. I think their both vast differences would make for a great on screen relationship.

Kevin James and Patton Oswalt - purely based on their relationship in "The King Of Queens" not saying that they are not as good solo. However, their work together as Doug and Spence on King Of Queens is easily one of my favourite relationships in sitcom history.

Chris Pratt and Andy Samberg - Pratt and Samberg are from the same style of Comedy they both rely heavily of the silly/idiotic persona which for me they pull off very well. I.E their roles in "Parks And Recreation" and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" respectively, their both reliance to work on the sillier Comedy might become a bit tedious but I think that these two would have a great repartee.

Anthony Mackie/Michael Ealy and Bradley Cooper/Mark Wahlberg - maybe a Lethal Weapon reboot? The younger black man actor who can pull off Comedy and Drama was a bit of struggle for me, I was stuck with these two and these two alone on the other hand the kind of insane tough guy who is funny but can portray emotion too there is like 7 billion ha. However I think any combination of these four actors would work well together, Ealy was brilliant in "Almost Human" and the same goes for "Winter Soldier". Cooper kind of played a Riggs sort of character in "A Team" and the same could be said about Wahlberg in "Pain & Gain". Plus all four are pretty accomplished actors in their own rights.

Charlie Day and ANYBODY - This guy is hilarious he is stand out funny in "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" which he leads 4 other great comedy talents, he was also the only good part of "Horrible Bosses" in my opinion.I would love to see him bring a character like Charlie Kelly to the big screen along side anybody else I think the insanity, vulgarity and down right stupidity would be a match for ANY character along side him.

Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen - Now for the pièce de résistance, is there a truly better combination in the world right now than the great Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart. These two dudes are currently entwined in what can only be considered THE GREATEST BROMANCE OF ALL TIME and if you disagree even one iota you're wrong ha.

"Guardians Of The Galaxy" has a trailer!!!

I personally know nothing about GOTG, and still do not know a single thing. However, after seeing this trailer I am highly looking forward to the movie! Chris Pratt is going to be hilarious in it, check out the trailer an let me know what you guys think.

"The Hangover Part III" red band trailer

I didn't want to post this, but there is a lot of you fans out there. So here it is a new red band trailer for "The Hangover Part III". I never thought there would be two Hangover films never mind three, but I guess money talks. The second film fell way short of the impact the first one had, but they are promising that the third will give us an unforgettable conclusion to the franchise.

I realise this poster has been out for a little while now, I just find it hard to post anything "The Hangover Part III" related. The second film did everything it possible could to destroy what could have been a good franchise, and this film will not bring the franchise back to life. The new poster shows how the gang are returning to Vegas, really? Wow, that's original!

Todd Phillips shares "Hangover 3" pictures

I'm not even going to go into what I think about this movie, I will just say NO! With the pictures there was a small synopsis released;
"This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off."

Ken Jeong signs for a bigger role

Ken Jeong has signed on for a bigger role in the upcoming Comedy "The Hangover Part III", he will have a major part in the film according to director Todd Phillips.

"Sources say Mr. Chow will play a larger role in the third installment, though Warners is keeping the plot under wraps. Jeong is working out dates to avoid conflicts with his NBC/Sony series Community. The show begins shooting in August and overlaps slightly with Hangover III's planned fall shoot."

He will be re-teaming up with Ed Helms, Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifinakis for the May, 2013 release. 

"The Hangover 3" returning to Vegas?

The original "Hangover" (the only good one) was a huge hit cinematically and critically, an managed to secure as the highest grossing R-rated comedy of all time.

"“The Hangover” stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis, along with Las Vegas resident Mike Tyson, will be filming the third installment of their box-office smash series here. Just like the first film, scenes will be shot for “The Hangover, Part 3” on and off the Strip and at Caesars Palace.
 Director Todd Phillips reportedly will shoot much of the new — and final — episode in Tijuana and L.A. Vegas DeLuxe has already reported that the storyline will find the boys rescuing their troubled friend from a mental hospital."

I personally think this is a really bad idea, the second instalment in the film was so lazy it was essentially a remake of the first but in a different country. An come on the whole "mental hospital" part of the film already sounds pathetic an stupid, I for one personally will not be spending my time or money on this junk.

"The Hangover 3" could begin filming this summer

Oh the joy of another "Hangover" film, I personally haven't got over the last film. What an absolute embarrassment of a film that turned out to be! There has been a few rumours circulating of what the film might entail since the second instalment was released, now we now that there is definitely a third instalment we can expect more rumours in the upcoming weeks and months.
"Dealmaking on the studio’s third instalment in the raunchy comedy franchise is wrapping up after dragging on for months due in part to the salary demands of its three stars. Sources close to the negotiations say Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms are asking for $15 million each (against backend) to reprise their roles, and they now are likely to get it. That’s a big raise from 2009’s The Hangover, which was made for about $35 million and paid the headliners under $1 million each. When the R-rated bachelor-party comedy unexpectedly grossed $467 million worldwide, the studio found itself without talent deals for a sequel. Negotiations were heated for The Hangover Part II, released last May, with the three principals each scoring around $5 million, according to a source, plus back-end compensation that raised their haul into the mid-teens (and counting) when the movie grossed $581 million worldwide."
$15 million, $15 million wage? What the hell is Hollywood coming to? $45 million on three actors wages is horrifying considering the only good "Hangover" instalment cost $35 million to make. Oh how I wish that Hollywood made films for fans and not for money.

"The Crow" lawsuit settled

Relativity Media have lost the director and lead actor of their planned reboot of "The Crow", but they have settled the lawsuit with The Weinstein Company. The Weinstein Company which distributed Brandon Lee's "The Crow" back in 1994 claimed to have exclusive worldwide distribution rights to the reboot.
"The lawsuit between Relativity Media and The Weinstein Company concerning "The Crow" has been amicably settled out of court, and the parties will continue to work on the film together as planned. In addition, Relativity Media has dismissed all of its claims against The Weinstein Company for any wrongdoing regarding the release and distribution of NINE, and The Weinstein Company has dismissed all of its claims against Relativity Media."

"The Words" first poster

"The Words" is an upcoming drama/thriller, the poster appeared online sometime yesterday. The film is written and directed by Brian Klungman and Lee Sternthal and will be their directorial debut. It stars Bradley Cooper (The A-Team, Limitless), Olivia Wilde (Cowboys & Aliens, House M.D), Zoe Saldana (The Losers, Colombiana), Jeremy Irons (Die Hard 3, The Borgias) and Dennis Quaid (Far From Heaven, The Day After Tomorrow).
