Dave Batista joins Bond 24?

Roughly two months ago it was reported that James Bond 24 may be going old school, in the sense that they will be looking for a very physical commanding presence to play a henchman in the same way in which the late, great Richard Kiel played Jaws.

Turns out, new Marvel recruit Dave Bautista has been given the job to play henchman to the big boss in the upcoming Bond film.

James Bond 24 going old school???

Looks like James Bond 24's production is moving forward at a nice pace, now they are working on some casting for the upcoming film. According to MI6 a website dedicated to James Bond himself are reporting that Daniel Craig will be facing "someone extremely physically fit and over 6' 2", check out the apparent casting call here;

"Casting has begun for the main assassin, with the search specifically focussed on someone extremely physically fit and over 6' 2". Whoever wins the role will have several altercations with Daniel Craig's 007 throughout the film and also a driving sequence. Former sports athletes will be under consideration along with anyone 'very unusual'. The character has the working name of 'Hinx' (which may change before shooting starts) and is said to be between 30 and 45 years old... The goal is to find the next Jaws or Oddjob - a henchman so different to anything that has gone before that they will become instantly iconic in the film series,"

Does this mean we are set to see the return of the over the top iconic henchman like in previous Bond instalments some of the wonders like Jaws or Oddjob? That would be a great addition to the newer Bond world, I loved watching Jaws as a kid he is still an all time favourite villain to a lot of fans of the franchise I know.

The return of the DB5

James Bond is known for many things, the women, the gadgets, the guns and the cars. He has always had a cool car in every film, this film is not looking any different in fact it's looking extremely familiar as Skyfall is set to feature the Aston Martin DB5. The filmmakers have released a little behind the scenes video with this incredible vehicle.

"Mission Impossible 5" ???

"Mission Impossible 4" received great reviews an made a lot of money, so they are more than likely the main reason behind a possible fifth instalment in the franchise, so it's pretty obvious the studios an big movie exec's will push for it to be made.

"asked him about whether he’ll return for a fifth “Mission: Impossible” instalment.
Yeah, if I can get the script right, we’re going to do it,” he said. “We’re going to do our best.“"

Well I guess that settles it, it wouldn't surprise me if the script is already being discussed if not already being written behind closed doors. If it isn't this comment he made would probably get the wheels turning on the project.

Trailer "Bourne Legacy"

Finally another trailer for "Bourne Legacy", this trailer is a lot more action packed than the last. This film seems a lot more Jason Bourne orientated than I expected it to be, I thought it would all be Aaron Cross.
I love Jeremy Renner, but I'm still finding it hard to get my head around a Bourne film with Matt Damon or Bourne himself being the head honcho. From what I can gather from the trailer, looks like they are trying to tone down the Bourne character an bring in Cross as some sort of super soldier.

"Skyfall" official teaser

This trailer has helped re-store my faith in the Bond franchise, there was a rumour late last year/early this year that they might be scrapping a lot of action from the movie in order to go for an Oscar. By the looks of this trailer, that is simply not true, Bond is back!

First poster for "Skyfall"

There has not been enough released for "Skyfall" I believe, but we finally have a poster for the upcoming instalment in the Bond franchise. I'm excited for the new Bond film, but I really do wish that they would hire a new actor to play him I don't believe Craig is the right man for the job.

Daniel Craig was pictured filming scenes from the upcoming instalment in the Bond franchise, the scenes are being filmed as part of James going back to his ancestral lodge. The Hollywood star was accompanied on set by the legendary Judi Dench who portrays M in the film.

"Skyfall" set photos

Finally we have some set photos of the upcoming villain in the newest instalment in the James Bond franchise, there is still a lot of speculation of whether or not Bardem will be playing a corrupt police officer or that he is in disguise.

"The Bourne Legacy" teaser trailer

We've seen the first official photo of Jeremy Renner in "The Bourne Legacy", now we have the official teaser trailer. The trailer looks great, but I am missing Matt Damon already. It's pretty weird to watch this trailer and hear the word "Treadstone" mentioned without actually seeing Jason Bourne himself.
