"Star Trek Into Darkness" synopsis?

I've been a posting a bit about this film, but it is a bit disappointing how little we actually know about this film. We know that all the cast is returning with the addition of Benedict Cumberbatch as the villain other than that, what do we actually know? A HUGE thanks to whoever decided to leak this synopsis;

"In Summer 2013, pioneering director J.J. Abrams will deliver an explosive action thriller that takes Star Trek Into Darkness. When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.
With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew."

Action packed? Not something I would personally relate to a Star Trek film, they are more for the thinking movie fan than they are for the movie fan who wants to switch their brain off and relax. I'm not implying that the film is doomed before it's release, but it is a very strange phrase used to describe the movie.

"Total Recall" official plot released & official picture

The first official picture for the upcoming Sci-Fi/Acton remake "Total Recall" made it's way online before I even started my own blog and never got round to posting it so here it is.
Also Sony Pictures have released the official synopsis for their upcoming film,
"Total Recall" is an action thriller about reality and memory, inspired anew by the famous short story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale” by Philip K. Dick. Welcome to Rekall, the company that can turn your dreams into real memories. For a factory worker named Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell), even though he's got a beautiful wife (Kate Beckinsale) who he loves, the mind-trip sounds like the perfect vacation from his frustrating life - real memories of life as a super-spy might be just what he needs. But when the procedure goes horribly wrong, Quaid becomes a hunted man. Finding himself on the run from the police – controlled by Chancellor Cohaagen (Bryan Cranston), the leader of the free world – Quaid teams up with a rebel fighter (Jessica Biel) to find the head of the underground resistance (Bill Nighy) and stop Cohaagen. The line between fantasy and reality gets blurred and the fate of his world hangs in the balance as Quaid discovers his true identity, his true love, and his true fate."
