DC want female director for Wonder Woman

According to a report by TheHollywoodReporter, Warner Bros are looking for a female to helm the upcoming "Wonder Woman" film, and to say there is a short supply of female directors in Hollywood would be an understatement. There is a few females taking on big projects like Katheryn Bigelow "The Hurt Locker", Lexi Alexander "Punisher: War Zone", Patty Jenkins and "Thor: The Dark World".

I personally would love to see Kathryn Bigelow take over the role of directing, she has some fantastic films in her filmography and has the experience to take the project to the next level. Any suggestions of who you would like to helm the project?

  1. Honestly DC/WB has to go with a female director. If they don't, the final product will be a PR nightmare with no credibility. That being said, Bigelow is a no brainer. Her gritty, realistic style fits this new universe started by Man of Steel.
