It's been known for a while there would more than likely be a sequel to the incredible "Prometheus", in August it was confirmed that there would be a sequel. Then we heard from Damon Lindelof in December that he would be returning to write the script.
"They're working on the script. I met Ridley in London a couple of weeks ago. I would love
to work with him again and I know that he would like to do another one.
It's just like we need to find the right story. I hope we will."
She went on to say, "It's interesting because people, most people I've talked to who see the movie,
see things that are quite different. Some people who see the movie many
times and discover new things. There are all these religious aspects
and there are very interesting conversations. And for me, if we do a
second one, there are a lot of things to explore in there and to
continue."

R.I.P Tony Scott 1944-2012
![]() |
| Tony and his brother Ridley |
"A passerby who saw Scott jump from the bridge called 911, according to a statement released by the coroner’s office late Sunday.
The coroner’s office declined to comment or confirm a Los Angeles Times report that authorities found contact information in Scott’s car parked on the bridge, and later found a suicide note in his office.
Born Anthony D.L. Scott in North Shields, England, in 1944, Tony — as he was known — got his start as a teenager in front of the camera, starring in his older brother Ridley Scott’s film “Boy and Bicycle.” In 1995, the two joined forces to create the production company, Scott Free Productions." If you are not familiar with film directors because you're more into the actors, then here are a few of the great films Tony worked on during his 40+ years in the industry;
- Hunger (1983)
- Top Gun (1986)
- Beverly Hills Cop II (1987)
- The Last Boy Scout (1991)
- True Romance (1993)
- Enemy Of The State (1998)
- Spy Game (2001)
- Deja Vu (2006)
- The Taking Of Pelham 123 (2009)
- Unstoppable (2010)

"Prometheus" International trailer
WOW! Just WOW!. Fox recently released an International trailer for "Prometheus". I'm not gonna sugar coat my feeling towards the film, I think this will be the film of the year (slight possibility "The Avengers" could trump it). But, you can't go wrong with Ridley Scott in my opinion, the man is a film making genius; Alien, Blade Runner, Hannibal, and American Gangster to name a few. Words fail me for what to say about this film, if you can thing of anything drop a comment below.

"Prometheus" overload!
Last week it was announced that "Prometheus" was going to be released in IMAX, which for me is an incredible announcement I was hoping that it was going to be confirmed after seeing the high resolution "Star Map" picture. Below are two new high resolution pictures, that have been found on the newest viral site for "Prometheus".
Also we have an IMAX teaser trailer.
A 2+ minute trailer that premiered at Wondercon.
A viral video, which shows the unboxing of a Weyland android.
We also have the International trailer that was released in the UK last week and an 20+ minute question an answer with Ridley Scott and Damon Lindelof.

"Prometheus" official still
The steady release of promotional piece's for "Prometheus" is appealing the eye, a new still has found its way online. The new still showcases the mysterious stone head again, seems to be a pivotal part of the film, or at least for the promotional push.
The image shows us nothing more than any other previous pictures has shown off, but it does show off the huge stone head that seems to be a huge part of everything being released. Ridley Scott is keeping the big details close to himself, but that doesn't stop us fans getting our hopes higher an higher each time they release a new promotional push.
If you look on the floor you will see what looks like "eggs", an cast your mind back to the "Egg Farm" scene in "Alien". Also I thought that we weren't going to be seeing the "Alien" character in this film, to me they look eerily similar. Take a look below let me know what you think in the comments section if you like.

"Prometheus" new International poster
The official international poster for "Prometheus" is now online, the poster is very similar to a previous poster. Looks like they have just brightened up the American release of this poster for the International release, the background behind the head looks very Geiger-styled in my opinion.
Guy Pearce confirms "Prometheus" role
There was rumours circulating round that Guy Pearce had landed himself a role in the upcoming Sci-Fi "Prometheus", these rumours can be put to bed now. During a recent interview Pearce himself confirmed his involvement in the film;
"I’m only [in the film] for a minute, but it was a real honour to work with Ridley [Scott], to see what was going on… I think Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace and Charlize Theron and everybody will do a really spectacular job."

"Prometheus" new still released
A new picture for "Prometheus" has been released online, the picture seems to show a design familiar to us "Alien" fans around the world. The picture shows two figures in the background which clearly resemble the Space Jockey from "Alien", but are they suits or statues?
In the past H.R. Giger himself had mentioned that he believed the Space Jockey to be a fossilised creature, while Ridley Scott said that he saw it as a suit that somebody/something wore. After this new picture June can't come quick enough I think this film will be the "Alien" of my generation.
