Sherlock has been one of my favourite shows since it aired back in 2010, I eagerly awaited the premier on BBC One here in the UK. Ever since then I have been hooked, so after another critically acclaimed season all of us Sherlock fans have been on the edge of our seats since the show ended wondering what the future actually held for the show. Now we have confirmation that "Sherlock" will return for a fourth season.
That being said we did have to wait two years for the third season premier, so hey what's another two years?
Speaking with IGN Moffat gave an update on how they will approach the fourth season;
"I have no idea. Sue’s working on the schedules right
now. I just started with Capaldi on the new series of Doctor Who. You
know, we’ll do what we can, but with no sacrifice in quality – that’s
the thing. If people have to wait two years, they’ll have to wait two
years."
Moffat also said;
"When’s the next James Bond film? It’s not that kind of
show that turns up all the time. It’s just not. But the good news is,
that probably means it will turn up sporadically for a very, very long
while."
