"Juan Of The Dead" get new US distributor

"Juan Of The Dead" has been blowing up of late since it's world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival last September, an now there is more information surfacing for the films US release.

According to Variety, Focus World has acquired the rights to premiere "Juan Of The Dead" at US festivals and are going to release the film in digital formats including, cable/satellite providers, iTunes, X-Box 360, Playstation 3 and YouTube.


A different company will be handling the US theatrical distribution an more than likely the DVD and Blu-Ray release. There is no dates set for film release as of yet, but I will update as soon as any information is released.

“In the film, Havana is overrun by Zombies while’s Cuba’s Commie leaders insist it’s just a plot by US-backed dissidents to bring down the government. It is up to the hero Juan to rid the island of the undead for money. But as the zombie outbreak begins to spread, he is left with no choice but to fight for his own survival."
