Morris Chestnust joins "Kick-Ass 2"

Morris Chestnut is probably known by many as either Ryan from "V" the 2009 remake or Ricky in "Boyz N The Hood" a personal favourite of mine. Chestnut takes the place of Omari Hardwick, playing the role of Sergeant Marcus Williams.

"'Kick-Ass 2' is gonna be a fun ride,”

“It’s a wild suspenseful ride. 'Kick-Ass 2' is a wild, kick-ass ride. I’m proud to be a part of that one. I play Chloe Moretz’s guardian. Nic Cage died in the first movie, so he asked me to look over her, and I’m just trying to force her to do the right thing; in terms of going to school and getting her education, and staying away from the streets, and staying away from Kick-Ass. And she doesn't listen to me."

"I don’t really get too much action in this one,” he says, “I’m the wise guardian. I know what she’s into, but I let her know – ‘Don’t force me to have to make a decision. Because I’m your guardian and I love you and I made a promise to your father that I would look after you, but I’m also an officer of the law. So if you break the law, and you’re out there doing this Kick-Ass stuff, I’m gonna have to make a decision.’"

"Kick Ass 2" update

If you're like me an don't know anything about Kick-Ass, which is highly unlikely because this film is ridiculously popular for some unknown reason then here is an update on the story for "Kick-Ass 2" and maybe a sneak peak at Jim Carrey as the lead villain? I personally didn't like the first one which usually gets me a lot of funny looks, but them looks becomes frowns and anger when I say I'm not a fan of Jim Carrey ha ha.

"Kick-Ass, Hit Girl and Red Mist return for the follow-up to 2010’s irreverent global hit: Kick-Ass 2. After Kick-Ass’ (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse)—reborn as The Mother F%&*^r—only the blade-wielding Hit Girl (ChloĆ« Grace Moretz) can prevent their annihilation.
When we last saw junior assassin Hit Girl and young vigilante Kick-Ass, they were trying to live as normal teenagers Mindy and Dave. With graduation looming and uncertain what to do, Dave decides to start the world’s first superhero team with Mindy. Unfortunately, when Mindy is busted for sneaking out as Hit Girl, she’s forced to retire—leaving her to navigate the terrifying world of high-school mean girls on her own. With no one left to turn to, Dave joins forces with Justice Forever, run by a born-again ex-mobster named Colonel Stars and Stripes.
Just as they start to make a real difference on the streets, the world’s first super villain, The Mother F%&*^r, assembles his own evil league and puts a plan in motion to make Kick-Ass and Hit Girl pay for what they did to his dad. But there’s only one problem with his scheme: If you mess with one member of Justice Forever, you mess with them all."

Incase you don't know what the Colonel looks like below is a picture from the comic, plus a few pictures of Jim Carrey as the Colonel.
