Will Ferrell & Mark Wahlberg unite!!!

Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg worked together 4 years ago in the hilarious "The Other Guys" and they are now reuniting for Paramount Pictures "Daddy's Home" which is expected to go into production at the end of the year.

"Daddy's Home follows a mild-mannered radio executive (Ferrell) who strives to become the best stepdad to his wife's two children, but complications ensue when their freewheeling and freeloading real father (Wahlberg) arrives, forcing him to compete for the affection of the kids."

The film will be directed by Sean Anders who recently worked on "Horrible Bosses 2", the screenplay was written by Brian Burns and has undergone touches from Anders himself, John Morris, Etan Cohen, Chris Henchy and Adam McKay.

"Will and Mark are the absolute perfect on-screen duo to take on this hilarious project," Adam Goodman, President of Paramount Film Group said. "With Anders at the helm, and our partners Red Granite on-board, we are thrilled this movie is getting underway."

Adam McKay eyes Marvel spot???

Adam McKay the genius behind countless of the funniest films in recent years has already got his foot in the door of the Marvel Cinematic Universe boarding "Ant-Man" to rewrite the script with the help of Paul Rudd the man starring in the film. Recently while doing an "interview" if you will with CraveOnline McKay has announced he is in talks to helm his own Marvel project.

"[I] had such a great time working with them," he says, "that we're kicking around ideas. But yeah, maybe I would take on one of the characters. We haven't locked in anything, but discussions are definitely going on."

Adam McKay to direct a new Comedy

"Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" teaser's

I didn't even think that they had finishing writing the script for this film yet, never mind started their advertising campaign. This teaser poster is just amazing I think, it just gets me all excitement for the return of the Channel 4 News Team. We aren't just blessed with this poster we are also given a teaser trailer which has me in tears of laughter every time I watch it.

Trailer "The Campaign"

The film stars Will Ferrell an Zach Galifinakis, need I say more really? Ha ha. I will though, the film follows two rival politicians Ferrell an Galifinakis who are trying to win an election in a small congress in North Carolina. I'm a huge Ferrell fan myself an can not wait for "Anchorman 2", this will have to do until they officially go into production.

Adam McKay reveals "Anchorman 2" info

Adam McKay director/producer of some the best comedy films of the past decade (in my opinion) has splashed some new information on the upcoming "Anchorman" instalment. Obviously he doesn't want to reveal too much about the story as they're still developing script, but he has revealed some things that make the imagination run wild.

"We have an idea for her that we think is pretty cool,” McKay explains, ”So tentatively right now she’s in. But obviously we kind of have to let it be what it’s gonna be. We don’t want to handcuff ourselves, but we love Applegate, so any chance to work with her is always fun.”

"I’ll tell you we’re staying roughly period,” McKay continues of the sequel’s setting, ”and I would just say it’s the next stage in the development of American media and news. The fun of these characters is they confront change very poorly. So they’ve got some more change coming their way. I can say that pretty safely.”

"I don’t want to give away too much, but I’ll just give a couple pieces of ideas that we’ve kicked around. Keep in mind we’re still writing the story, but I’ll say one phrase for you: custody battle. I’ll give you that. I’ll give you one other one: bowling for dollars."

Custody Battle?, Custody Battle?... Holy ba, jebus, that doesn't half make the film a lot more interesting. Ron and Veronica possibly fighting for custody, how can that not make any "Anchorman" fan excited. I can't wait until we get pieces of information over the next few months/year.
