Trailer for Despicable Me spinoff Minions is HERE!

Becoming a Movie Blogger!

Over the past few months people have asked me about how I got into Blogging, it was something I never really planned on doing. However, I did plan on writing a novel/screenplay I know that is a cliche "oh another hipster writing a screenplay" for me it's not like that. I have been in love with movies since I was 3 an first watched "Tom and Jerry: The Movie" me and my brother must have watched that film hundreds of times.

So with my love for movies I started using movie Blogs daily in my teens an have been using them since. The growth of Blogging in recent years has been astronomical to say the least they are about EVERYTHING so I decided that I would start my own. You know get a feel for writing and hopefully get myself a little publicity for when/if I finally release my own work.

When I started doing this in November, 2011 I thought it would last a few weeks, maybe a couple of months. Here I am over 2 years later with about 36,200 views under my belt. I started this for no other reasons than my love for movies and writing.

I will say to anybody who is thinking of doing this themselves DO NOT do it to try and make yourself famous or rich I can say right now you will find yourself heavily let down.

I'd say at least 3 times I day I check multiple websites in order to find the news I want to post about, I used a variety of different sites because I like how they write their articles, the difference in news the post and just for the love of movies. Here are the sites I check daily;

Star Wars 3D re-releases cancelled

We all remember a while back when George Lucas decided to re-release the entire Star Wars franchise in the chronological order, well looks like these plans have been scrapped, thankfully.

"Although plans were underway for theatrical 3D re-releases of both Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, Deadline reports that Lucasfilm will instead concentrate their attention on the upcoming Episode VII instead.
It is unclear how much post-conversion work has already been accomplished on the two remaining prequels (Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menancesaw a 3D re-release last year), but it is possible that both films could find a theatrical re-release sometime in the future or that the 3D versions could be released directly to Blu-ray."

I for one am unbelievably happy with this news, I don't think they should mess with the original trilogy at all in my opinion its the greatest trilogy of all time. Mess around with the prequel trilogy all you want ha.

ME! Well the blog ha ha. It's been a year since I started this blog, an I just wanted to say thank you to everybody who visits my site. I would never have guessed that when I started this I would have nearly 14,000 hits and reach countries like Russia, Australia, Egypt and even more obscure places like Taiwan, Algeria and Philippines.

"Texas Chainsaw 3D" poster & trailer

I don't know whether I'm excited or not about "Texas Chainsaw 3D", don't get me wrong the first film from '74 was incredible probably one of the best Horror's ever made but the sequels an later remake an prequel weren't the best. Well here is a poster for the upcoming instalment in the franchise, Leatherface looks a bit Scarecrow-ish (The Dark Knight), but i really like it has intrigued me into watching the film a lot more now.

"Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D" delayed

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news all horror fans our there, but "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D" has been put back from October 5th this year to January 4th 2013. The new movie is not a remake an does not tie into the other remake of recent years, instead this is movie is being developed as a direct storyline sequel to the original 1974 film.

The movie will star Alexandra Daddario, Scott Eastwood, Bill Moseley, Tania Raymonde, Trey Songz, Keram Malicki-Sanchez, Shaun Sipos, Thom Barry, Paul Rae, and Richard Riehle.

Taking it's place in October is a new found footage horror film called "Sinister" which will star Ethan Hawke and Vincent D'Onofrio. Also Tim Burton's "Frankenweenie" and "Paranormal Activity 4" will be releasing in October this year.
