Quentin Tarantinos next film will be a Western!

"I can't talk that much about it, but I will say one thing. I haven't told anyone about this publicly, but I will say the genre. It's a Western," he said. "It's not a 'Django' sequel, but it's another Western, and the thing is I had so much fun doing 'Django' and I love Westerns so much, that after I taught myself how to make one, it's like 'well okay, now let me make another one now I know what I'm doing.'"

Paramount sets release date for the next "Friday The 13th"

It goes without saying these days that we can always expect a new instalment in one of the big Horror franchises i.e "Nightmare On Elm Street", "Halloween", "Hellraiser" and of course "Friday The 13th". Looks like the latter has has indeed been green lit, Paramount has confirmed this by licking down the release date of March 13, 2015!

Yes, you guessed it March 13th of 2015 is indeed a Friday, however as it stands we have no official title or information on the film. It is still currently unknown whether or not this film will be a sequel to the 2009 release or another stand alone reboot. I'm personally hoping for a reboot, the 2009 release was fun but not the best film.

"There are no further details other than that. We know Platinum Dunes will be producing the film, but there is no director and there are rumblings of the producers looking for a "found footage" approach." That worries me a lot, I do not think for a second that Jason Voorhees would work in a found footage style scenario, however I am open to being proven wrong.

Feels like forever that we have been waiting for official conformation on Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson joining "The Avengers: Age Of Ultron" today we finally have it. We have had quotes from various places plus even from the actors themselves now we have official conformation from Marvel themselves. Check out Marvels official release below;

Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen have officially joined the Avengers family as the brother-sister duo of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron," the highly-anticipated sequel to 2012's smash-hit "Marvel's The Avengers"! "Avengers: Age of Ultron" arrives in theaters May 1, 2015.

Taylor-Johnson broke out with his roles as Dave Lizewski in the "Kick-Ass" franchise and with his portrayal of a young John Lennon in "Nowhere Boy," for which he won an Empire Award for Best Newcomer. Since then, Taylor Johnson has starred in 2012's critically-acclaimed "Anna Karenina" and director Oliver Stone's "Savages."

Since making her big screen debut in 2011 with "Silent House" and "Martha Marcy May Marlene," for which the actress garnered a number of awards and nominations, Olsen has gone on to star alongside the likes of Robert DeNiro and Sigourney Weaver in "Red Lights," Josh Brolin and Samuel L. Jackson in director Spike Lee's "Oldboy."

Taylor-Johnson and Olsen will share the screen as leads in the highly anticipated "Godzilla" remake scheduled for a May 2014 release.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" will bring the Marvel Universe's biggest heroes together again to face one of their biggest villains, with "Marvel's The Avengers" director Joss Whedon returning to write and direct the sequel. "Marvel's The Avengers" was released in 2012 and went on to earn $1.5 billion worldwide, making it the third-largest grossing movie of all time.

In addition to "Avengers: Age of Ultron," Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" on April 4, 2014; "Guardians of the Galaxy" on August 1, 2014; and "Ant-Man" on July 31, 2015.

Norman Reedus in talks for "The Crow"

Schmoes Knows are reporting that TV favourite Norman Reedus is in talks to star in "The Crow", the site is also reporting that he is the top choice for a role in the film called "James". However it is currently unknown whether or not he is one of Eric Draven's allies or enemies. We already know that Luke Evans has been cast as Eric, so it would be nice to see another big name joining the film.

Set to be directed by Javier Gutierrez, the film features a script by Cliff Dorfman. Series creator James O'Barr will also work as a consultant on the film, which is said to begin production in 2014. No release date is currently set.

Over the past couple of weeks we have seen a few set videos of Michael Bays "Transformers 4: Age Of Extinction" and now thanks to Empire Magazine we have our first look at the big man himself Optimus Prime!

2 new "Anchorman 2" clips

Possible titles for Batman vs. Superman

I've seen a lot of debate online to what the sequel to "Man Of Steel" should be titled, I for one think it should just be "Worlds Finest" or maybe "Man Of Steel: Worlds Finest" an that seems to be the favourite with other fans. However, it seems like Warner Bros might be taking a different approach Futsible have reported recently.

There's been a lot of debate over the official title of the upcoming Batman vs. Superman film scheduled to be released in 2015. This week, Warner Bros. secretly registered a host of possible titles through the internet brand protection company MarkMonitor. Now, it's likely the debate is going to get more opinions. According to the latest domain registrations, possible titles include "Man of Steel Battle the Knight," "Man of Steel Beyond Darkness," "Man of Steel Black of Knight," "Man of Steel Darkness Falls," "Man of Steel Knight Falls," "Man of Steel Shadow of the Night," "Man of Steel The Blackest Hour," and "Man of Steel The Darknness Within."

My guess is that these are all names to just throw us bloggers off the scent of what they are actually going to call the movie. These names seem to dark orientated, I realise that they have to include Batman in the title somehow. However I am a little worried about how they will do it, I just want it to be simple i.e Worlds Finest.

Tom Hiddleston's "Only Lovers Left Alive"

As you guys may know, I am not one for Romantic films however when I seen that Tom Hiddleston was attached it did peak my interest a bit. The film was written and directed by the huge independent cinema contributor Jim Jarmusch known for "Ghost Dog: The Way Of The Samurai", "Broken Flowers" and "Dean Man".

The film features Tom Hiddleston as vampire Ada, who is a rockstar who cannot get accustomed to the modern world with all of its new technology. While he lives in Detroit, his wife Eve (Tilda Swinton) lives in Tangier, flourishing in the new world. But when she senses Adam's depression with society, she gets on a plane and goes to see him. Shortly after Eve gets there, her younger sister, Ava (Mia Wasikowska), shows up after 87 years and disrupts the couple's idyll reunion.

New photos from Arnold Schwarzeneggers "Sabotage"

He keeps doing, Arnie just keeps turning out exciting looking movies every year. The man is one my all time favourite stars, just check out these pictures below, the man is 66 an still looks like a total badass mofo! As long as he keep turning out Action movies people will flock to the cinemas to see his movies.

Video from the set of "Transformers: Age Of Extinction"

Entertainment Today recently visited the Detroit set of Michael Bays fourth instalment in the Transformers franchise "Transformers: Age Of Extinction" and they have brought us a video check it out below.

Is it just me or is watching these videos some what magical? I realise how dumb that sounds, but come on they converted 4 blocks of Detroit to look like Hong Kong. The magic of movies still baffles me to this day and I am 23 an been watching movies since I was like a toddler.

"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" gets a title change...

Well in Brazil that is, there are reports suggesting that in Brazil the movie will now be title "The Amazing Spider-Man: Rise Of Electro". It has been reported that Sony were looking at adding a subtitle to the movie, looks like they have for their Brazilian market.

Some people might not know this but movies across the world sometimes have different titles for different markets, i.e "Die Hard: Live Free or Die Hard" in the US which over here in the UK is called "Die Hard 4.0".

Does anybody else think that the word "rise" is kind of played out in movies these days? Especially considering that we more than likely will not see Electro in any more films within this franchise, they could have gone with much cooler title like "The Amazing Spider-Man: Enter Electro" in homage to the PS1 game.

First look at Grant Gustins Flash!!!

It was released a while back that this season of "Arrow" we would see The Flash introduced before given his own show next season. We found out a few weeks back that Grant Gustin will be playing The Flash an now we have our first look at him.

We have also found out today that, CW are going old school with their introduction of The Flash. Usually the pilot will be a back-door pilot in which the first show "Arrow" would have a whole episode dedicated to the back story of the new character/show, however CW are going the more traditional route an The Flash will have its own pilot in the next television season. We are set to see Gustins Flash in Decemeber in an episode titled "The Scientist" but if you can't wait here he is. The episode synopsis is below read if you want, if you don't want a spoiler ignore the bold italic text below.

"A seemingly impossible robbery at Queen Consolidated’s Applied Sciences Division brings Central City police scientist Barry Allen (guest star Grant Gustin) to town.  Citing a similar case back home, Barry offers to help Oliver and team with the investigation.  Oliver senses there is more to Barry than meets the eye, but he’s distracted by the similarities between this current case and something that happened on the island.  Meanwhile, Felicity takes a liking to Barry, which doesn’t go unnoticed by Oliver.  Sin (guest star Bex Taylor-Klaus) asks Roy for help when a friend of hers goes missing.  Roy is surprised when Thea not only encourages him to help, but joins the search.  Unfortunately, Sin’s friend is connected to Brother Blood (guest star Kevin Alejandro), and their search ultimately gets one of them seriously injured."

New trailer for "Need For Speed"

The new trailer for "Need For Speed" has appeared online, not many people agree with me when I say this, however I think Aaron Paul was the best part of "Breaking Bad" and I'm glad to see him getting lead roles in huge films. Hope this continues!

Adam Driver denies Nightwing rumour

The rumour started circulating about a week ago that star of HBOs hit show "Girls" Adam Driver was in contention for Dick Grayson in the upcoming Man Of Steel sequel. Speaking recently with Collider, Driver was strong in his belief that he hasn't heard anything at all about this role.

"No. Not that I know of, no. If you find out, let me know, then I'll know."

"That's like intensely flattering as you can imagine. I mean, it's Batman and Superman, who doesn't want to be involved in something not only of that scale but of who those characters are. That's an incredible world to be able to be in for a bit. Like who wouldn't want to do that?"

Colin Farrell talks Warcraft

A few months back, rumours starting circulating for the casting of the upcoming World of Warcraft movie "Warcraft". One of the earliest names thrown about was Colin Farrell, recently IGN caught up with him and asked about the project here is what he had to say;

"Don’t know what’s happening, man. I read the script, if that’s any use to you, and it’s amazing....Duncan was cool. I sat with Duncan for awhile and read the script, loved the script, and we was as cool as can be. I don’t know what’s happening with the film. I don’t know where they are in the process...It’s just a world that I never explored — and it’s a really big and fantastical world. I can’t imagine what he, being as visually gifted as he is, Duncan, and what he did on Moon with, like, a dime, I can’t imagine what he’d do with this Warcraft."

When asked what character he might be playing, Farrell replied:

"Can I? I probably shouldn’t. I don’t even know, actually, I’ll just say that! I don’t even know. We were just talking, and Duncan just said, “There might be something in it for you!” And I said, “Catering?” [Laughs]"

Hugh Jackman talks The Wolverine sequel

It came out earlier this month that Fox were wanting to re-team James Mangold and Hugh Jackman on the big screen with a sequel to this years "The Wolverine". Yesterday Jack was speaking to Entertainment Weekly an had this to say.

“I don’t want to dive into another one until we have a compelling reason to do another one,” he explains. “I love the character, he’s kind of like a best friend to me, and I don’t ever want to take [him] or the fans for granted. ...I think we’ve got a great opportunity to make something really cool, but it has to be great. That’s what we’re all working toward... I was on the phone with Jim Mangold last night. There are some really cool ideas that I’m dying to tell you, but that would be giving away a secret that is not even [fully] formed yet.”

AMC's "The Walking Dead" spin off to be a prequel?

AMC announced a few months back that they were in the early stages of developing a spin off series to "The Walking Dead", now we are hearing that the new series "will be a prequel of sorts, one that would chronicle the early days of the epidemic and the effort to contain it."

Creator Robert Kirkman previously told IGN that the new series would be set in a different location and would feature completely different people. "It definitely won’t be set in Georgia… It’s important to us that this show exists on its own. The spin-off has to be a show worthy of existing, or else we've all sold out."

Trailer for Darren Aronofskys "Noah" is here

When I heard there was a film of "Noah" in production I just yawned an shook my head. After I seen the trailer the other day though, my mind was completely changed. I am now for one looking forward to watching this, it looks like a Biblical Epic version "2012". Anyway check out the trailer below, hopefully you will be swayed like I was.

Jennifer Lawrence talks Mystique

Speaking with IGN recently Jennifer Lawrence talked about where we are going to find Mystique in the upcoming sequel.

"We find Raven, she's split off from Eric and Charles and she's kind of her own agent. She has one mission of trying to assassinate somebody and it will be her first kill basically, and because we've seen her in the future and what she becomes and this is kind of a turning point for her."

"Independence Day 2" moved to 2016

Looks like we have another casualty to the packed 2015 movie schedule and this time it is "Independence Day 2" which is now set to release July 1, 2016 which is roughly the 20th anniversary of the release of "independence Day".

It is still unknown or not that Will Smith will be retuning for the sequel, even though recently is has been confirmed that there has been 2 scripts written for the film one for either outcome of Smiths inclusion in the film.

Chris Pratt is joining "Jurassic World"?

Chris Pratt seems to be taking over everything of late, he started off as the idiot Andy in "Parks And Recreation" and now he is headlining "Guardians Of The Galaxy" will star alongside Vince Vaughn in "Delivery Man" and now it looks like he about to take the lead in "Jurassic World".

"Fifty Shade Of Grey" pushed to 2015 plus here is a first look

Let me just start by saying I AM SOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY CHARLIE HUNNAM LEFT, he is one of my favourite actors around right now due to "Sons Of Anarchy" an I don't want him attaching his name to such awfulness.

Anyway back to the news, Universal Pictures have moved the film from its original release date of August 2014 to February 2015 in order to coincide with Valentines Day would be my reckoning. With the announcement came the first official pictures here they are.

If you ask me these pictures don't at all look "sexy" or "erotic" if I'm honest they look like Dakota Johnson was kidnapped by Jamie Dornan an he forced her to take these pictures ha!

"Fantastic Four" reboot begins scouting locations

It was released a while ago that Fox were planning on rebooting "The Fantastic Four" in Louisiana, looks like we have a more specific place now. Rumours are circulating that a few people in Baton Rouge have received notices that their apartments may be used for filming which is set to start March 2014.

As it stands all we know about the film is that Josh Trank the man behind "Chronicle" is at the helm, we have no cast yet. So here are a few people I wouldn't mind seeing in the roles. A quick fancast if you will.

Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) - David Tennant

Jonny Storm (Human Torch) - Liam Hemsworth, even though for months I have thought Michael B. Jordan would be great, making him a black actor would mean making Sue Storm black. She just has to be a hot white woman with blonde hair, there is NO compromise ha.

Sue Storm  (Invisible Woman) - Yvonne Strahovski

Ben Grimm (The Thing) - Terry Crews

Victor Von Doom (Dr. Doom) - Benedict Cumberbatch

2nd trailer for "RoboCop" reboot

I'm not 100% sure if I am sold on this movie yet, being a huge fan of the original there is just something about this one that doesn't sit right. Check out the newest trailer below.

Ice Cube and Kevin Hart "Ride Along" in new trailer

I have always been a fan of Ice Cube so when I heard he was making another Comedy film I was looking forward to it then heard Kevin Hart that didn't put me off at all. Check out the trailer for their upcoming film releasing early next year.

"Delivery Man" trailer is here

My brother ALWAYS claims that Vince Vaughn is one of the greatest Comedy actors ever, I always disagree with him. Not because I dislike Vaughn it is just that, he does not bring out enough for me to warrant such a title. However, whenever I hear that he has a new movie coming out I get a little bit excited, then I heard it was about a man who donated his sperm in College and now has hundreds of children running round I laughed a bit.

I will say though, after watching the trailer a few times it has that Dramedy feel about it rather than the outright Comedy I was expecting. On the other hand I guess a straight up Comedy film about a man with over 500 children would just be, no, no it would still be hilarious! I think Vaughn should drop the Drama from his roles, it was the Drama that ruined "The Dilemma", well the Drama and the fact that the film was awful ha.

Anyway I am going on, check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.

New trailer & poster for "I, Frankenstein"

Aaron Eckhart is a pretty good actor unfortunately he will always be Dent to me after "The Dark Knight". That given, his new Horror/Fantasy Action film coming out next year "I, Frankenstein" does look pretty sweet. When you look at it, it just doesn't look like the film you would associate him with anyway check out the trailer & the poster below.
