"Goosebumps" feature film has a director?

Last year we found out that Darren Lemke had been hired to bring the iconic TV Series to the big screen, now it looks like the film has took another huge leap forward in bringing in Rob Letterman at the helm.

Deadline are reporting that Letterman is close to signing a deal with Sony Pictures, previously, he has worked on "Shark Tale" and "Monsters Vs Aliens". As it stands we have no information on whether or not the film will be based on one of R.L. Stines original books or just take pace within the Goosebumps universe.
