"Evil Dead 4" update?

The other night at a Q&A for the South by Southwest Film Festival, Director Frede Alvarez revealed that they are already working on the script for the sequel of the remake.

However, a few weeks back Sam Raimi revealed that he an his brother Ted are working on the screenplay for "Evil Dead 4" which would presumably follow the antics of Ash Williams.

According to reports now it is looking more likely that the fourth instalment in the original Evil Dead franchise is set to be "Army Of Darkness 2" a direct sequel to "Army Of Darkness" opposed to "Evil Dead 3" as it would stand within the franchise.

Along with the new photos we have been given a new poster. Not many Horror remakes actually excite me anymore, but this one does look pretty great especially that Sam Raimi & Bruce Campbell are involved.

A red band trailer for the remake of "Evil Dead" is here an you have to watch it. I'm so excited for the actual release of this film now after seeing the trailer. When I was watching this trailer I got goosebumps all over my body, it felt just like it did when I watched the original when I was about 11.

 I'm back after my short break ha, it's been nearly a month since I last posted. The news I'm coming back with is that apparently "Evil Dead" has wrapped up Principal photography.

I haven't been too excited about the remake/reboot of "Evil Dead" growing up I loved the small scale brilliance of it an never thought it could be recreated. But with Bruce Campbell an Sam Raimi returning they could give it that old school feel.
