Today The Weinstein Company announced the official cast for Quentin Tarantino's upcoming post-Civil War western "The Hateful Dead", the cast as as follows;

Walton Goggins as Chris Mannix,
Demian Bichir as Bob,
Tim Roth as Oswaldo Mobray,

Channing Tatum as unspecified role.
In The Hateful Eight,
set six or eight or twelve years after the Civil War, a stagecoach
hurtles through the wintry Wyoming landscape. The passengers, bounty
hunter John Ruth (Russell) and his fugitive Daisy Domergue (Leigh), race
towards the town of Red Rock where Ruth, known in these parts as "The
Hangman," will bring Domergue to justice. Along the road, they encounter
two strangers: Major Marquis Warren (Jackson), a black former union
soldier turned infamous bounty hunter, and Chris Mannix (Goggins), a
southern renegade who claims to be the town's new Sheriff. Losing their
lead on the blizzard, Ruth, Domergue, Warren and Mannix seek refuge at
Minnie's Haberdashery, a stagecoach stopover on a mountain pass. When
they arrive at Minnie's, they are greeted not by the proprietor but by
four unfamiliar faces. Bob (Bichir), who's taking care of Minnie's while
she's visiting her mother, is holed up with Oswaldo Mobray (Roth), the
hangman of Red Rock, cow-puncher Joe Gage (Madsen), and Confederate
General Sanford Smithers (Dern). As the storm overtakes the mountainside
stopover, our eight travelers come to learn they may not make it to Red
Rock after all...
"I can't talk that much about it, but I will say one thing. I
haven't told anyone about this publicly, but I will say the genre. It's a
Western," he said. "It's not a 'Django' sequel, but it's
another Western, and the thing is I had so much fun doing 'Django' and I
love Westerns so much, that after I taught myself how to make one, it's
like 'well okay, now let me make another one now I know what I'm
doing.'"
Wu-Tang Clan legend RZA is stepping away from the rap game and putting his musical mind to producing an directing. He has had small roles in "American Gangster" and "Funny People" now he is working on a Martial Arts film with horror master mind Eli Roth and Oscar nominated director Quentin Tarantino. RZA is going to play a blacksmith, here is the official synopsis;
"In feudal China, a blacksmith who makes weapons for a small village is
put in the position where he must defend himself and his fellow
villagers."
