20th Century Fox have released four new posters for their upcoming instalment in the Planet Of The Apes franchise "Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes" check them out below.

Recently "Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes" started filming, here we have some photos from the set of the production. If you haven't been reading about the casting news, then you might not recognise a lot of characters due to the fact that this film is set fifteen years ago the events of "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes".

Gary Oldman joins "Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes"

The cast of "Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes" is starting to take shape, and you will be happy to learn like I was that Gary Oldman has joined the cast. According to ComingSoon Oldman has been cast as the leader of a human colony in the film. In case you missed the previous news, the new movie is set 15 years after the first one and sees the human race struggling against the apes.

"One focus is on the group of human scientists who are struggling to survive alone in San Francisco. Another aspect of the story is the struggle of intelligent ape Caesar, played by a returning Andy Serkis, to maintain dominance over his kingdom."

 Deadline are reporting that Oldman will play a character called Dreyfus, who leads the human resistance after the apes have taken power. Gary Oldman will be joined by Kodi Smith-McPhee ("Let Me In"), Jason Clarke ("Brotherhood") and Andy Serkis. Production will begin this Spring, and Matt Reeves ("Cloverfield") will Direct.

First plot details and casting for "Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes"

The sequel to "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes" had a release date before it even had a director or a single cast member. A new report is suggesting that the sequel has cast its lead role an that role goes to Jason Clarke one of the leads from "Brotherhood" TV Series that aired 2006-2008. There is no specific details of Clarke's character, but we do know that the film is set 15 years after the events of "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes".
