Adam Scott in talks to lead "Hot Tub Time Machine 2"

End of last year we found out that MGM were moving forward with plans to create a sequel to the widely loved Sci-Fi Comedy "Hot Tub Time Machine" I personally wasn't a fan. However, this week The Warp have reported that "Parks And Rec" star Adam Scott is in talks to take over as the leading man due to John Cusack not returning. The other 3 actors Craig Robinson, Rob Cordrry and Clark Duke are all expected to return as the the characters they played in the first with Scott playing a completely new character.

Aksel Hennie joins "Hercules"

Aksel Hennie has is apparently set to join Brett Ratner's "Hercules" along side Dwayne Johnson, an he will play Tydeus. I for one know hardly anything about Hercules or Greek mythology so I haven't a clue who Tydeus actually is. The film is set to be co-produced by MGM and Paramount Pictures, and will be based on Radical Publishing "Hercules", a Comic Book of which there were two series.

"Carrie" remake has a director?

Yet again the horror master Stephen King's work is being made into a film, well a remake as "Carrie" was originally released in 1976. Back in March last year it was announced that the film was getting remade, but no news has been released for a while. It seems that film is being continued to be made and MGM/Screen Gems has a director top of their list.
Reports are suggesting that Kimberly Peirce is in talks to be director of the script written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, both are more known for directing an writing drama based programming. Reports are suggesting that the script differs a bit from Brian De-Palma's version, the new script is said to be more true to Stephen King's novel.
