According to recent reports, Universal have acquired a novel manuscript entitled "Demonologist", they have plans to turn it into a feature film. The novel/manuscript was written by Andrew Pyper, the book is set to be sold at auction soon but Universal wanted to gain film rights before the book found its publisher.
"When a professor who studies Paradise Lost accepts a free trip to Italy, a demonic spirit appears to kill his daughter, and he must go on a dark journey of discovery in hopes of getting her back. Pyper is repped by UTA and Toronto-based Anne McDermid & Associates."
