It's not exactly movie news, but Netflix has arrived in the UK today. The US distribution giant is getting it's teeth into the UK market, the service here will be based on streaming videos through Internet connected devices likes of Smart TVs, Games Consoles, Blu-Ray Players, Tablets and even Mobile Phones. The service already boasts an impressive 20 million streaming users in 47 countries and has "tens of thousands of hours" of entertainment.
"We are starting 2012 in the best possible way, by giving consumers in the UK and Ireland an amazing entertainment experience", said Reed Hastings co-founder of Netflix he continued to say "Now you can enjoy as many great films and TV programmes as you want, when you want, where you want, for one low monthly price with no contracts or commitments".
