Bill Murray has allegedly shredded his copy of the script for "Ghostbusters 3" an mailed it back to Dan Aykroyd. The actor has previously shown reluctance in signing up for the third instalment of the ghost hunting comedy film, reportedly destroying the script written by co-writers and original "Ghostbusters" stars Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis.
Allegedly Murray sent the screenplay back with a note that read "No-one wants to pay money to see fat, old men chasing ghosts". I'm somewhat inclined to agree with Murray, they all do seem a bit old to be reprising their roles as much as I would like to see another instalment, I don't think it's a good idea. Sony Pictures are apparently unwilling to make the new sequel without Murray's involvement while Sigourney Weaver admitted she would not reprise her role unless Murray. Akyroyd stated in August that the movie will go ahead with or without Murray. Below is a trailer of the original "Ghostbusters" reminisce in it's glory.
