"Argo" first photo

Little known  fact, Ben Affleck was once in the running to direct the new "Man Of Steel" film but turned it down in order to do "Argo". Which is based on a true story,

"Joshuah Berman’s article about the incident by writer Chris Terrio Argo follows CIA ‘exfiltration’ specialist Tony Mendez (Affleck) in November 1974 as he’s informed of the situation. You see, militants have stormed the US embassy and taken 52 Americans hostage. Six have escaped and are finding refuge with the Canadian ambassador, but they need to leave the country pronto. So Mendez cooks up an idea to have them listed as members of a location scouting team for a sci-fi movie. Which will require the US government to create a fictional production."
